After standing by and doing nothing for six months as the Gaming Commission shut down harmless pub poker leagues in Tasmania, Michael Ferguson has had a revelation. Playing poker at the pub with your mates is harmless and fun.
Michael Ferguson should apologise to the operators and players at Bullets Poker, Tasmanian Poker League and Australian Poker League following months of turmoil, social isolation and loss of income. It should never have come to this.
This whole pointless saga reiterates why, after 10 years, we need a change of Government.
