Rhoshan Dhingra
Labor Candidate for Bass
Roshan Dhingra works in retail, investment and has worked for the Labor Party in both paid and voluntary roles.
In his political role Roshan engages regularly with the diverse Northern Tasmanian community, driving his strong desire to help and support members of his community.
Roshan has seen the impact on his community of soaring power prices, groceries and other necessities, which has motivated him to try to help and give everyone a fairer deal.
He knows the cost-of-living struggle is being compounded for many people who are working part-time and can’t get full-time work, and many of those who do have full-time work are still struggling to make ends meet because they are in low-paid jobs.
Roshan knows Tasmanians should be reaping the benefits of Hydro Tasmania’s renewable energy but instead are choosing between heating and eating, especially during the cold winter months, and wants to see real relief for all Tasmanians.
Roshan is also concerned about providing for Tasmania’s ageing populations and is committed to fighting for better public services for everyone.
