Premier Rockliff confirmed he has no policy and no plan for the Office of the Coordinator-General.
Under repeated questioning from Labor to outline what his policy is, Jeremy Rockliff had nothing to say.
The Premier couldn’t outline a single power that his alleged policy would give the Coordinator-General – because he doesn’t have a policy.
By contrast, Labor has a plan to give the Coordinator-General real powers, and real teeth. We want to see the coordinator general able to cut through red tape, drive rezonings and tell government entities and businesses to get out of the way.
Tasmania has some incredible opportunities available to it. We need a government that is prepared to bust through the red tape and get our economy moving again.
