Heidi Heck
Candidate for Clark

Heidi has seen firsthand how a Labor Government can change peoples lives. At age 16 she dropped out of high school to help support her family through working on farms and in kitchens. But it was thanks to free TAFE she was able to complete her education and is now studying law.
Like many Tasmanians, Heidi has been forced to put off seeing a doctor due to the cost. She knows it didn’t used to be like that, all you should need to get the health care you need is your Medicare card. Labor will rebuild Medicare and make seeing the doctor free again for all Tasmanians.
Under Anthony Albanese and Labor we’ve opened 5 Medicare Urgent Care Clinics including two in Hobart, a free specialist endometriosis and pelvic pain clinic in Glenorchy and made medicines cheaper. Making it easier for Tasmanians just like Heidi to get the care they need and take pressure of the Royal Hobart Hospital Emergency Department
Tasmanians can’t risk a Peter Dutton led government, one that wouldn’t protect TAFE or Medicare.
As Clark’s representative Heidi will fight every day for more cost of living relief for Tasmanians like Labor’s 20% off HEC’s debt, energy bill relief and free TAFE.
