Save Our Divo

The petition of the undersigned Citizens of Tasmania draws to the attention of the House:

The community of Beauty Point’s concern and disappointment about the removal of the beloved ‘Divo’ diving board. The Divo has been a local recreational icon for the Beauty Point community for generations. It is a place that brings families and the community together, a place of laughter and fun, making countless memories for a community that has loved and enjoyed this iconic spot.

While we understand the importance of safety, it's disappointing this decision was made without any consultation with the community. Community voices matter, and we want to be part of a conversation with the government to preserve this unique feature that contributes to making Beauty Point special.

Your petitioners request the House to call upon the Government to reconsider their decision to remove the diving board and work with the community to find a solution to ensure the preservation of this cherished local landmark.
