$3.2 million to park Spirit V in Scotland

After months of trying to hide the figure, the Liberals have finally revealed it has cost Tasmanians $3.2 million to park Spirit V in Scotland.

They have now bungled the Spirits replacement project so badly that the total waste, blowouts and bailouts has surpassed $1 billion.

That's Premier Rockliff’s Spirit's disaster.

This is not the normal cost of buying the ships or building the infrastructure.

This is the extra cost of the Liberal's incompetence, the berth blowout, the bailouts, the fixes and bonuses.

Premier Rockliff bought two new Spirits and forgot to build the berth to receive them. That failure sent TT-Line broke and has left Tasmanians with a billion dollar waste bill.

Then the Premier put Eric Abetz in charge of cutting $1.5 billion from the services Tasmanians rely on to pay for it, and 13 years of other Liberal waste.
