Anti-housing Greens throw young Tasmanians under the bus

24 March 2025

The Greens are complete hypocrites on housing.

Tonight Vica Bayley will address a public meeting as part of his long running campaign to block the state's largest ever housing project.

This project will deliver housing for thousands of young Tasmanians in the middle of a housing crisis. It will also create thousands of construction jobs and support the modernisation of our state's only university. It will make our capital city even better. It's a fantastic project.

For pure politics, tonight they'll stand with Meg Webb and Kristie Johnston, arguing against more housing and a new STEM facility.

Young Tasmanians are bearing the brunt of Hobart's housing shortage,  and they're leaving in record numbers for the mainland in search of better opportunities.

They won't soon forget the Greens have fully adopted the Liberal Party's anti-housing, anti-development, anti-university election policy.
