DAPs dies, Liberals planning mess remains

Minister Kerry Vincent may have quietly killed off DAPs, but the planning mess the Liberals have created is now bigger than ever.

DAPs was supposedly the Liberals' answer to fixing Tasmania’s planning woes.

Tasmania is the undisputed hardest place in Australia to build a home. The statewide planning scheme, promised 13 years ago, isn't in place and there is no planning reform on the table.

Labor has taken comprehensive planning reforms to the last two elections - because we want to make it easier to build a home. We will continue to work with industry and local government to make home ownership easier for every Tasmanian.
