The Liberals have begun their election campaign with a massive split in their party room.
Up until last night, when the Premier was granted his wish of an election, senior Liberals were madly doing the numbers trying to remove Jeremy Rockliff.
Instead of governing, they’ve spent the past week fighting among themselves.
Jeremy Rockliff couldn’t manage the parliament, which saw his government collapse for the second time and Tasmania head to an early election.
He can barely manage his party room, who were just one vote away from showing him the door.
How can he possibly be the right person to manage the state?
