The Liberals want to sell off Tasmania – our poles and wires, Aurora, and ports in Hobart, Burnie and Devonport.
That means higher power bills, worse services, and profits going offshore. Shipping costs will rise, pushing up grocery prices for Tasmanians – all so mainland corporations and multi-nationals can profit.
Profits from our assets should go to schools and hospitals – not multinationals. These profits belong to Tasmanians.
Jeremy Rockliff will try to trick people into believing he won’t sell off Tasmania, but he can’t be trusted. He said he believes in privatisation and won’t drop it. He made promises to Tasmania on the eve of the last election that he’s already broken.
After 11 years of failure, this election it’s time to tell the Liberals Tasmania is not for sale.
Labor has a plan for a fresh start for Tasmania, and we’re ready to deliver it.
