Premier dodges King Island ambulance questions on the golf course

Premier dodges King Island ambulance questions on the golf course

Premier Rockliff flew to King Island yesterday and refused to answer questions about his broken health promises to the people of King Island.

Two and a half years ago the Liberals promised King Island an upgraded ambulance service and two community paramedics.

Islanders still have neither.

The local volunteer ambulance offers are also still waiting for their own amenities. They deserve better.

King Islanders are not asking for special treatment. They are asking the Premier to keep his word and provide the new ambulance station and permanent paramedics he promised them at the 2024 election.
