Premier in hiding

Today marks one week since Madeleine Ogilvie resigned for misleading Parliament amid the Liberals’ legal fees scandal.

Extraordinarily, the Premier has remained in hiding from Tasmania’s press pack since.

The Premier has become so afraid of scrutiny that he even announced a new Cabinet without fronting the cameras – an unprecedented display of cowardice from a man who clearly has something to hide.

This is not a “complex matter” like the Premier and his spin doctors want Tasmanians to believe.

It is a clear-cut example of a Minister misleading Parliament and her Premier and Cabinet colleagues covering it up for six months.

The Premier has serious questions to answer.
