The Liberals’ announcement that they have commenced work on their Stability Clause signifies that project “Lock in the Lambies” is underway.

As support from the Jacqui Lambie Network is the only thing holding the Government together, the Liberals are desperate to ensure that no Lambie abandons the flock. 

Following significant unrest from their junior coalition partners this week – who took great offence when their role of propping up the government was highlighted – the Liberals have clearly seen the need to act fast.

Will they be able to shut the gate on any Lambie coalition escape act in time?
