Premier Jeremy Rockliff must order a full investigation into the extraordinary claims made in yesterday’s Caretaker Conventions committee.

Sharee Minnikin-Smith was a Liberal Party Member, employee and later Parliamentary staffer.  Her evidence was given voluntarily and under oath.  It needs to be taken very seriously.

The allegations need investigation not just against the Caretaker Conventions, but as potential serious breaches of the law.

The Premier must take this matter seriously and order a full, independent investigation into the appointment of Ms Minnikin-Smith and her roll working for her government.

After the Liberals’ secret legal fee scandal the Premier’s integrity is in tatters. These are extremely serious accusations, and require a serious response.

The Premier can’t afford to be hands off, and he has no choice but to launch a full investigation into this matter.
