Weakest retail growth in the nation

31 July 2024

In yet more concerning economic news, Tasmania has recorded the weakest retail trade numbers in the country.

Tasmania recorded retail growth of just 0.1 per cent - a fall in real terms and just a quarter of the national average.

Under the Liberal-Lambie coalition, Tasmania's economy has crashed to sixth in CommSec's rankings. Their looming budget cuts will only make things worse.

It's becoming clearer by the day that the Liberal-Lambie coalition is hurting Tasmania's economy.
