The past week of Parliament has confirmed something that many Tasmanians are beginning to realise – you can’t trust the Liberals.

Not content with one massive backflip after unceremoniously dumping former Treasurer Michael Ferguson’s gaming policy on Tuesday, the Premier doubled-up with a second on UTAS to end the week on Thursday.

The Premier’s double-backflip was a gymnastics combo that would have made Simone Biles proud.

Both the Premier’s backflips left stakeholders who had taken the Liberals’ at their word feeling heavily betrayed.

The blatant dishonesty displayed by the Premier this week begs the obvious question – what promise will he welch on next?

The further this minority government stumbles along, the more it becomes clear that you can’t trust the Liberals.
